Nuria Pujol Caire

The crossroads between otherworldly settings, melancholy and a perpetual introspection defines Nuria’s work.
Born in Tijuana, Baja California, a self taught painter and architect by trade, she has been in love with the arts since she was a child.
Inspired by surrealist art, her paintings are mostly mixed media, either on canvas or wood. The use of oil, acrylic, metal leafs and découpage make each one a multilayered piece that conveys a clear message. Making it possible to create windows into parallel worlds that deal with the inner workings of the soul and the inherent sadness and beauty of life.
